Stress, Depression, Worries, Monetary and Family Issues, Sickness, Addictions, Disease, Death, etc.
It looks like there is not an end to all of these maladies – However, I'd like to tell you a story about a man, who had to confront them all. Yet, he was able to find a solution and overcome it. He was a family man just like any other modern man. He had a wife and many children. A beautiful family house and several other properties; such farms, land, cattle, sheep, camels, oxen, etc. He also employed workers, who helped in keeping his properties in order and cleansed. Life was beautiful and very good. Everyone in the family fully enjoyed everything they had and possess; cattle, land, houses, farms, and what not.
But one day, out of nowhere, unspeakable events started affecting them. Suddenly, a group a robbers showed up at one of their farms and took some of the cattle and killed the employees, who resisted them. To make matters worse, immediately after the first event - some weird atmospheric phenomenon appeared in the sky and fire, like thunder fell on the rest of the sheep and killed them all - including most of the workers tending them.
Then more robbers showed up realizing the previous ones were successful in taking the cattle. This time they took the camels and killed the workers caring for them. As the owner spoke with a worker about the things that happened to them – they wondered how they were going to restock and replace what the robbers had taken, when all of a sudden - another worker came running to them, and said: all of your children were partying at your elder's son house and a tornado came out of nowhere and hit the house from every angle and ripped it apart in pieces killing all of your children.
The man did not know what to do. He wondered what was going on? How was it possible this was happening to him? What has he done? He started feeling stressed and depressed. He was extremely worried about his personal loss. He screamed, ripped all of his clothes - wondering why this was happening to him! He simply thought of so much family loss and pain, and then he claimed: I came with nothing to this world and with nothing I will depart as well. He was really sad and crushed with a mix of emotional feelings and heartache.
That's what all of us face in life; pain, heartaches, depression, loss, unspeakable burdens, stress, and we only wonder why? How is it possible so much could be happening to us? What have we done wrong so we can make it right? Sadly, the man's story still did not end here. To top it all, he was infected with some weird skin disease, which fully took over his body and horrible stinging, painful, open soars appeared all of over his body and his burdens got heavier and heavier as time passed by.
At times, we have to experience what this poor man was going through. Maybe, we don't have so much wealth. Even so, we have to face hunger, monetary issues, sickness, family instability, death, and what not. As a result, we don't know how to cope with it and resort to digging a hole to hide our pains and heartaches. Like this man, who had lost it all and now gotten sick with a horrible disease, we must simply understand sometimes certain things do not make a lot of sense. Yet, we have to face such misfortunes.
How is it that all of these things happen? There must be something or someone, who is behind all of it! Someone who has the power to bring about so much chaos and calamities. One who causes to think differently; inducing and directing us to make the wrong decisions and fall short from our chosen path. One who is always concocting trouble, stirring up chaos and pain against us! One, who brings darkness, evil, pestilence to our lives.
I'd like to tell you this truth; right now there is a cosmic conflict going on. Sadly, this conflict affects every human being alive and to be born. Above it all, there is a solution. It requires accepting reality for what it is. It also requires changing our prospective in live by accepting this truth: there is a maker, a creator of heaven and earth: His name is YAH, our GOD. There is also an archenemy, whose name is the dragon, Satan, the devil, whose main objective is to hurt and destroy us.
This devil simply wants to overrun everything good our Heavenly Father has created and brought forth. The devil is the source of the chaos, stress, depression, oppression, pain, robbery, death, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, storms, wild fires, floods, wars, violence, lies, immorality, wrath, rage, adultery, and many other things affecting us today. Nonetheless, we have hope and a way to cope with all of these things even as you read this article today. Such Hope is in JESUS CHRIST - The Son of GOD our Heavely Father, The Almighty!
The man in the story, who lost so much is Job. His life was totally changed. Yet, he did not deny his maker and creator our GOD. Totally the opposite, he exalted the name of the Lord even more. Even as he did not understand why this was happening to him. Even so, it is with many of us, when we face some of these same catastrophic issues. I'd like to present to you the facts the Bible teaches us about Job and who is behind so much chaos and pain in our lives and the world.
Who was Job?
Job 1:1-5 KJV
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. 2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. 3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east. 4 And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. 5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
What was taken from Him?
Job 1:13-22 KJV
And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house: 14 And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them: 15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house: 19 And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. 22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
Who took it all away?
Job 1:6-12 KJV
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. 7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? 9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? 10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. 11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. 12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
Who gave him a disease?
Job 2:1-8 KJV
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord. 2 And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. 4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. 5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. 6 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. 7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. 8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.
Who restored him?
Job 42:10-17 KJV
The Lord also restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased double all that Job had. 11 Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they sympathized with him and comforted him for all the adversities that the Lord had brought on him. And each one gave him a [a]piece of money, and each a ring of gold. 12 The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; and he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys. 13 He also had seven sons and three daughters. 14 He named the first Jemimah, the second Keziah, and the third Keren-happuch. 15 In all the land no women were found as beautiful as Job’s daughters; and their father gave them inheritances among their brothers. 16 After this, Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons and his grandsons, four generations. 17 And Job died, an old man and full of days.
As you read straight from the Bible, the devil is the one, who is liable for most of the chaos taking place in our lives and planet earth. So if you'd like to rid of all the fiery darts he's thrown and sent your way – today is the day you can come to the Heavenly Father, the Almighty - our GOD and ask for help in protecting and shielding you from the wiles, trickery, and deceit of the devil. Remember, you are NOT going through the struggles of life because of another human being like you. But, because of the devil - he is public enemy no. 1 against God's creation. As a result, he will use all his wiles against you and the whole earth! Hence:
Ephesians 6:10-13 KJV
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Our true enemy is not the next door neighbor or co-worker or family member, but that invisible fallen angel who was cast to earth and now he is wreaking havoc amongst us. He is full of rage and wrath for his time is coming up to an end and soon all of this chaos, violence, hatred, death, and world instability will be suppressed.
Revelation 12:7-12 KJV
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
He is the one weakening all of the nations, tribes, and cultures around the world.
Isaiah 14:12 KJV
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Not only he weakens the nations. He also is the one coming to our lives destroying our peace, joy, and much more.
John 10:10 KJV
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
He is like the ferocious beast in the wilderness looking for the prey to be devoured.
1 Peter 5:8 KJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour..
We are the prey and he imputes into our minds the desires of the flesh, the carnal thoughts, which leads us to very convoluted and tumultuous lives.
Galatians 5:19-21 KJV
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
He knows he will be thrown into the lake of fire and he is not willing to go down alone. Thus far, inducing sin in our hearts and minds so we are blinded with the cares and lust of life. Eventually, accomplishing his plan in those who do not want to heed God's calling and words of truth.
Revelation 20:10 KJV
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
So, just like Job, we are being constantly attacked, bombarded by the fiery darts of the devil. He is always trying to affect us emotionally, spiritually, physically. That's why the depression, oppression, stress, burden, chaos, and violence in the world. However, we have a defense line, whose name is Jesus Christ! So let us put on the whole armor of light and let's not fight the fight alone, but let the Lord's fight for us! Always plead to the Father in Heaven for His protection, counsel, and might, who is Jesus Christ!
The best way to fight off the enemy is by always praying to the Heaveny Father our GOD In Jesus' name without ceasing. We must pray for His Shielding, Love, Mercy, Peace, and Joy as we wait for Jesus' Glorious Return!
Matthew 24:29-31 KJV
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Philippians 4:12-13 KJV
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 KJV
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
John 3:16-17 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Then:
James 4:7-8 KJV
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Always Remember our strength comes from the Lord for the Battle's is His! Our duty is to always pray, without ceasing!
Psalm 51:1-17 KJV
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. 15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
