The End is Near!

In today's modern world, can we trust the content of a book written thousands of years ago? Is it relevant to base understanding on such an old book?

Absolutely, the Holy Scriptures, the Holy Bible contains prophesies, which have already been fulfilled. Others are taking place as you read this statement. As a matter of fact, let us overview some of the realities we have to face due to the fall of man; meaning Adam and Eve, when they were tempted and introduced sin to the world.

Question?
1) Does our Heavenly Father, Almighty GOD mention in the bible we would face pain, chaos, and tribulation?

Unfortunately, yes! For so many, pain, chaos, violence, and personal tribulations seems like a natural occurrence. In reality we were not created to suffer, however sin entered through Adam and Eve and the whole creation of God was tainted, transformed and changed into darkness, suffering, and pain!

As humankind has moved along since the first day of creation - it seems like if we have set up and come up with a better world. Yet, life is more complex than that first day. Sadly, the word of God tells us that would be case; chaos, hatred, violence, instability, immorality, wars, pestilences, etc. would be the order of the day. To better understand this topic, let us go the word of God:

Genesis 3:16-19 KJV
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

The good news is God also provided us with a solution, His Son Christ Jesus! Yes, we will face tribulation. Even Jesus, in the flesh, experienced what we go through on a daily basis. And although we face such occurrences in our life, we must be always joyful in the Lord. Eventually, one day all of this will be over. Remember, Jesus conquered it all! So shall we!

John 16:33 KJV
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

2) So pain and tribulation is part of our natural world?

Unfortunately, yes - we all must face tribulation, both good and evil. It does matter who you are, Christian or not. All of us will come across the good and the evil that is in the world. The word of God says - the sun shines for both good and evil people.

Matthew 5:45 KJV
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

The one thing we need to make sure of – we must not ever take part in the evil. God's eyes are everywhere, whether we believe it or not. He is watching everything we are doing; writing down everything being done under the sun.

Proverbs 15:3 KJV
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Yes, God is aware of everything we are doing. Even if it is under the darkness of the night.

Hebrews 4:13 KJV
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

3) Will Christians also suffer even if they trust God?

Yes, remember the fight is against the enemy of God, Satan; the dragon, the devil.

Ephesians 6:10-13 KJV
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Satan's main goal is to destroy and kill everything God created. Especially, those who worship the creator and maker of the heavens and the earth, the LORD of Hosts, the I AM THAT I AM.
As Christians we must be in constant prayer without ceasing! We need to cover ourselves with the whole armor of God and understand if Satan used willing men to crucify Jesus - he will also come after us.

John 15:20-21 KJV
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

And though this is what we might face in the current fallen world, we must stand strong.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

4) For how long will God allow this to go on?

The LORD had a plan for each evil episode humankind have had to face. For example: the fall of Adam and Eve (sin introduced), Moses and the Hebrews (the Exodus), Jesus dying for us (Redemption and Salvation), and eventually Jesus second return (final global reset). He promised us - He will be coming back again for us and as we wait - we will face chaos, injustice, tribulation, and much more.

John 14:1-4 KJV
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Although Jesus did not tell us the exact time. He gave us clues about what to watch for, know, and discern when His return was close, even at the door!

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. 22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. 23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. 24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. 25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

5) How great of a tribulation would it be?

It would be a great and final horrible tribulation; wars, pestilences, immorality, violence, hatred, hunger, etc. like never before.

Matthew 24:6-9, 21 KJV
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

6) What will cause such dissent in people's hearts?

Let us first understand there is a spirit of truth and another one of error.

1 John 4:6 KJV
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Unfortunately, many decide to follow the spirit of error. Their minds are seared with the fiery darts of the enemy, becoming disobedient and stiff neck to the word of God. As a result, they themselves become Antichrist. They fully deny Christ Jesus as the son of the living God. As a result, the spirit of Antichrist is in them and they won't be able to see nor understand the power and wisdom of God. Please understand the wicked one is the one manipulating most of human's minds and they do not even know it.

1 John 2:22 KJV
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

7) How bad will people become as we near the end??

If you notice human behavior, people are becoming more narcissistic than ever – everyone is concerned about self and not others; hating, killing, abusing, beating, mistreating, and condescending others all the time is the thought of the day for many. As a result, as we get closer to the end of planet earth existence, life will get more complex and unbearable. Hence:

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. 8) Will there be an actual destroyer, an Antichrist representative, who will bring more chaos and destruction as near the end?

Yes, the word of God calls him the son of perdition. He will make believe he is the real deal. However, it will all be a huge farce controlled by Satan. Many will be forced to follow him and eventually be destroyed. Chaos and confusion in most religious communities will take place and a big falling away will replace truth, many will hate God, the church, and traditional religion. They will rather run to pagan false doctrines, idols, and whatever else is dark and wicked!

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

9) How can I not be deceived by this end-time Antichrist spirit and as the end grows near?

First, you need to understand things will get tough. People will be more wicked and evil than ever. They will only have a way for self and not for the fellow human being.

2 Timothy 3:12-13 KJV
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

There's good news though! While such terrible tribulation period is taking place, and as thunder flashes from one side to the other so we will see Jesus Christ returning in great power and glory. He is finally returning to take his church; the bride of Christ!

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken..

Yes, there will great suffering and chaos around the world. Society will break down and politicians, governors, law enforcement, and all kinds of officials will seem to have lost it. They won't be able to find a solution. However, those who understand what's going must endure until the end!

2 Timothy 2:3 KJV
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

and

Mark 13:13 KJV
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

We must, by faith, overcome everything and anything that is coming or that it is already here!

1 John 4:4 KJV
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

As we get nearer to the end, men' hearts will grow colder and colder. They will be thinking only on how to destroy the fellow men. Unfortunately, there's something past generations did not have that we have today: weapons of mass destruction.

So immorality, indecency, violence, hatred, wars, and what not, will eventually climax and bring the downfall of this planet - thanks to the master behind of it all, the devil – that great dragon. Nonetheless, remember this: sin started it all and soon, pretty soon it will end forever!

Our Heavenly Father, Almighty GOD, the creator of heaven and earth will restore all things anew in the hands of Jesus Christ! This time, He won't permit sin to sprout ever again!
